The Taste of In Sickness and In Health

I am sure the taste of good health is a common sight in daily life. Busy coffee shops, commuting train stations, shopping customers, folks enjoying the gardens and parks.

There we can visualize people in healthy estate. No one wants to be sick. It just robs the life out of everyone. But then there is something called balance. Too much of something simply gets a toll on other aspects of life.

Balance reminds us that we have other aspects of life that needs our support and also we need their support as well. When we fall sick, there is that greater appreciation of good health. When we feel the heat, then we greatly appreciate the air conditioning. When we feel the strength, we gratefully appreciate the process of daily training that went into it.

When we tasted both estates of sickness and health, there is that mystery of need in life - the need to humbly seek help from a greater being who can make us well.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.
