Book Review : Title - Unqualified by Steven Furtick
A quick skim through the book. To me it is much more difficult to read as its writing style somewhat different. Maybe more contextualized.
Take away - God can and uses broken people to do big things
Key passage take away for me is Philippians 3:8-10 - that I may know Christ through all things - in sufferings and in sharing ...
Takeaway pointers
Self-perfection is not the goal of human existence. Relationship with God is. Walking with God is. Knowing God, following God, listening to God, obeying God - those are the things humanity was made for.
When we get to heaven, sin will no longer be an issue. But our relationship with God will continue for eternity. That should tell us something: we shouldn't lose sight of what is eternal in our efforts to improve what is temporary. (Page 124, Changing Change)
