The Lost Coin

A great reminder from the book 'Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing'

A story was told of a woman who lost a coin. She ransacked her entire place and everything was a big mess.

When she found that thing she was looking high and low for - a tiny piece of coin - she rejoiced at the sight of it.

The coin by itself is lost. It cannot call out to the owner, "Dear Master, I Am Here!" It cannot move. It is lost.

The coin on hearing the noise around it, maybe the searching of the Master, it's heart starts to pound, "Dear Master, come over here!" But it can't. It is lost.

But the woman upon getting hold of her lost coin, moved with dancing and shouts of joy. She whipped up a nice meal and celebrated with those she knew, to rejoice with her.

Thank you dear God for seeking each one of us out. We love and glorify You all our lives.
