Removing Clutter

I am sure we are experts in collecting and accumulating. But when it comes to clearing stuffs, we are simply retarded in one sense.

There is that natural inclination within to collect and accumulate, to own and possess, to have something and to grab so those things somehow become our sense of security or significance.

So when trying to detach these things from our sphere of protection, I feel that sense of loss, the loss of some insecurity or pain or shame or protection - the protection from the pain of life and the hurting from daily life; from people and people who also has passed on.

The situation also paints a picture of a person allowing a leech to be so attached and when trying to remove it that times, it is so difficult to do so. In trying to forcefully do so will only create a pain so hurtful that results in a bloody situation.

Therefore being mindful of the current situation is a good first step to removing clutter. Secondly making a decision to slowly remove clutter is a good second step. Then making a motivated step to remove clutter a bit at a time is like making step by step effort to conquer Mount Everest. Every step forward is a great improvement, especially made with decisive and careful thought to it.

After making many steps, I am sure we will discover those were steps worth the effort.

And then realize that a less cluttered life really helps make life become slightly more simple, though life is already very very very complex.

Enjoy.
