As I looked up at the night sky
I know somewhere someone else
Is also looking at the same sky
I asked questions of why and how
They asked where their loves ones
And what next for them and life
I looked at the star filled darkness
They looked at the darkness filled star
The same sky we share but
The different days to live
The same number of days given
But in one day it was demanded in full
I pray in the same night sky
That amidst darkness they see light
In them the spark of life
Will ignite once again abright
Shining into every gloom and plight
Even through till the same day sky.
