It was a frightening experience having high fever as you just lose the sense of control over your body. It was like your brain is over heating and all control functions are breaking down.
What was most needed at that moment was to quickly bring the temperature down. With all clothes removed and into the shower for the coldest shower experience, the water was turned on. The initial feeling was like solid ice flowing down from the head to the entire body.
Have you ever seen ice melting and the vapors coming up the next moment? That was the picture in my mind. Who can one endure the cold shower? The recommended suggestion was to keep breathing hard and blowing out the heat from your body.
After a minute, the body gets adjusted to the cold, and slowly the heat was washed down and the body temperature dropped progressively. The brain gets cooled down and the control functions slowly regained their operation and routine.
With the fan switched off and the windows closed, clothes were quickly put on so that the chill that leads to further complications is not felt.
